These Terms of Service also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the VetGeni iOS app.

VetGeni leverages artificial intelligence to provide educational content. The AI model may make mistakes or overlook critical information. Advertiser Relationships

VetGeniā„¢ may contain advertisements. We take our reputation and credibility very seriously and only endorse products we believe in. If we are being paid to provide advertisements, we are required by law to state that in this provision.

Termination

We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of this Agreement that, by their nature, should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Use of AI Technologies

We use artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to provide some of our services. These AI technologies are prone to hallucination and should not be relied upon as completely accurate.

  6. The Services may not be used as part of a third-party management or consulting service.
  7. Integrating the Services with any external platform, system, or tool not expressly permitted by VetGeni, LLC is not allowed. The Services may not be connected to third-party systems for purposes of scaling or commercialization.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetGeniā„¢ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (c) any content obtained from the Services; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VetGeniā„¢ and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses including but not limited to attorneys fees, resulting from or arising out of a your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password, or b) a breach of these Terms.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

VetGeni provides SMS/text messaging services that allow veterinary clinics to send care-related updates, reminders, and discharge instructions to pet owners. By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the following:

  • Consent to Receive Messages: You consent to receive recurring informational text messages from your veterinary clinic through VetGeni's platform. Messages may include appointment reminders, pet care updates, discharge instructions, and other non-promotional communications related to your pet's care.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your pet's care needs and appointments. You may receive multiple messages per visit or care episode.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. VetGeni is not responsible for any charges you may incur from your carrier.
  • Opt-Out Instructions: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
  • Opt-In Instructions: If you have previously opted out, you may opt back in by texting START, UNSTOP, JOIN, SUBSCRIBE, or YES to the clinic's number.
  • Help: For help or support, reply HELP to any message, or contact your veterinary clinic directly.
  • Supported Carriers: This service is available on all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No Mobile Information Sharing: We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to provide veterinary care communications as described in our Privacy Policy.

By consenting to receive text messages, you certify that you are the account holder or have authorization from the account holder to receive text messages at the provided number.

Permitted Use

You agree not to use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You agree to comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to your use of the Services. You agree to use the services for their intended use.

Our Services may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Intellectual Property

You are advised not to submit any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) while using our Services. If you choose to provide any information that could be classified as PII in any public areas of our Services, you do so at your own risk and under your own responsibility.
