  • aria-live regions announce dynamic content changes
  • role attributes define the purpose of custom elements
  • Focus management ensures logical navigation flow

Color Contrast & Visual Design

All text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards:

  • Normal text: minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1
  • Large text: minimum contrast ratio of 3:1
  • Interactive elements have visible focus indicators
  • Color is never the sole indicator of meaning

Screen Reader Support

VetGeni is tested with major screen readers:

  • NVDA (Windows)
  • JAWS (Windows)
  • VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
  • TalkBack (Android)
