Covetrus Pulse
Use the browser connector on a workstation where Pulse and VetGeni are open in Chrome or Edge.
Install the connector
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and choose Add to Chrome. Edge users can install from the same listing.
Install and pin
Add the connector to Chrome or Edge, then pin it in the browser toolbar.
Open Pulse and VetGeni
Use the same browser profile for Pulse and VetGeni, then refresh both tabs.
Use the connector panel
Import the active Pulse patient or insert reviewed VetGeni notes into the open Pulse exam editor.
Import patients from Pulse
In Pulse, use the VetGeni dock (drag it by its header to reposition it). Pick a visit date and click Import visits to send the day’s appointments to VetGeni, or click Patient to send just the open chart. In VetGeni, check the patients you want and confirm the import.
Work the case in VetGeni
Open the imported case, record the visit, and generate the SOAP or discharge as usual, then review it.
Send the finished note to Pulse
Click Send to Pulse on the reviewed SOAP or discharge. The VetGeni dock in your Pulse tab shows the loaded document immediately.
Insert into the Pulse record
In Pulse, open the patient’s note or exam, press Scan in the dock and confirm the target section (a matching section is preselected), then click Insert. Review the inserted text and save in Pulse.
